Meet the Team

Patrick, Chairman

Patrick is passionate about the marine sector and is right behind taking Eyemouth Marine into the 21st century. He believes that the marine sector, just like any other sector, must continually improve, especially it’s customer focus, its processes, and its people’s capabilities. This is all happening at Eyemouth Marine.   Patrick is also chairman of Kallanish Ltd, Humbie Hub Ltd and is a director of the sustainable insulation business Sisaltech Ltd. In addition to that work he is an active mentor and business advisor in other areas.

George, Commercial Director

George plays a huge part in broadening our services here at the yard including works on smaller leisure vessels that can be brought by trailer and our Eyemouth Yoal project. As a RIB owner himself, he is often out on the water with his family whilst sailing. With a marine background George’s knowledge of all things water based have been a huge asset to the boatyard.

Callum, Lead Coordinator & Engineer

As a Marine Engineer, Callum carries out maintenance and repair work on marine engines and systems. He has always had an interest in boats and the coastline therefore, his hobbies include volunteering for the HM Coastguard as a Coastguard Rescue Officer, teaching sailing and powerboating as an RYA Instructor and when he has spare time, he enjoys exploring the islands and harbours on the Firth of Forth by boat with friends and family.

Ryan, Business Support Manager

Since joining in 2019 Ryan has spent the majority of his time hunched over his laptop, bouncing through spreadsheets and supporting the business in an administrative sense, any way he can. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is currently studying towards his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) professional qualification.  When not frequenting Microsoft Excel at the boatyard, he spends his time with family or playing football with friends.

Richard, Yard Crew

Richard has been with the yard for quite some time now and as our main crane operator, you will often see him out and about around the harbour assisting the harbour operations team with lifts. His skills give the yard a unique service for local businesses and operations.

Drew, Yard Crew

When it comes to slipping and unslipping boats Drew is our man. Having been apart of the boat yard for a long time he knows it best. With a fishing background, he has a great deal of experience when it comes to maintaining commercial vessels.

Martin, Yard Crew

As an experienced skipper Martin is always on hand to help, whether it is Lifeboat sea trials or general repairs for commercial vessels. Martin has been a member of the RNLI for 40 years and has also been commercial skipper; he has a world of knowledge when it comes to anything boat related.

Neil, Lead Coordinator & Boat Builder

Neil joined our team in partnership with Borders College. He is currently completing his Level 6 modern apprenticeship with us in boatbuilding and repairs. His course focuses on wood work and composite repairs and he has been assisting with all GRP related jobs and projects including our Eyemouth Yoal.
