Last week the team set up shop at the Skipper Expo Int in Aberdeen, where we the had the chance to talk to people about the yard and take in the sights at Scotland’s largest fisheries show. Yvonne and Graham accompanied Patrick to the Seawork International 2018 convention in Southampton where they met a number of suppliers and had a look at what is new in the marine industry. The new Scania engines were on show which are being fitted into the Shannon Class of RNLI lifeboats, along with WaterMota and Volvo
Major repair works are now complete on the Trent class RNLI Whitby Lifeboat. She has had a new engine fitted and various hull repairs as well as some general touching up. She’s back down the slip sitting pretty in the Harbour ready to be delivered back to Whitby to serve the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast.
